Seeking a part-time graduate research assistant for the 2020-2021?


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Samuel Dubois Cook Center for Social Equity is seeking a part-time graduate research assistant for the 2020-2021 school to support grant-funded research on gifted education programs. This opportunity would be ideal for students who are interested in quantitative research, state policy analysis, and examining equity and access issues in gifted education.

We are looking for students who are reliable, motivated, and already have some experience with data visualization, statistical output, excel, manuscript writing, literature searches, and creating tables. Successful graduate research assistants will need to have weekday availability between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm (approximately 5-10 hours per week). Additional responsibilities include preparing written reports and meeting and conferring with members of the research team to discuss progress, trends, and interpretations of data.
