Fenaba Addo interviewed on WUNC about long-term effects of student loan debt

Cook Center Faculty Affiliate Fenaba Addo, Ph.D. joined Leoneda Inge and Stacia Brown in a conversation about student loan debt. Dr. Addo is an  associate professor of public policy at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill and is the co-author of A Dream Defaulted: The Student Loan Crisis Among Black Borrowers.

In this interview, Dr. Addo discusses the long-term impact of student loan debt on adults. She adds that the burden of education debt can impact family planning and housing for millions of graduates, especially those who made the step to pursue education for economic mobility.
