Agustin Hurtado
Agustin Hurtado is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Maryland. He studies finance and inequality. His research agenda focuses on financial institutions serving low income, minority, and immigrant entrepreneurs and households. His most recent work studies racial disparities in the mortgage market and the effect of racial minority bank ownership on minority credit. He is also investigating the effects of immigration on housing and household financial health. Agustin received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
