The Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University was featured in The Carolina Times as a premier research center dedicated to examining and addressing systemic inequality. Founding Director Dr. William A. “Sandy” Darity, Jr. emphasized the center’s mission, describing it as a space where rigorous, systematic research on inequality informs tangible solutions.

Highlighted for both her administrative leadership and creative vision, Dr. Wright’s contributions have been central to the center’s growth and legacy.
