Founding Director Dr. William A. Darity Jr., and Research Associate Lucas Hubbard were featured in the “Black Reparations Roundtable” in the new issue of the Journal of American Studies, edited by Nicole Gipson and Ahmed Honeini. The Journal of American Studies’ “Black Reparations Roundtable” seeks to contribute to conversations around arguments for Black reparations on a national and global level. This roundtable provided perspectives from the United States, France, and the UK, to make the case for Black reparations.
Dr. Darity and Hubbard extend their work on reparations from their coedited study, The Black Reparations Project: A Handbook of Racial Justice, to join this conversation about Black reparations on both sides of the Atlantic with scholars, Nicki Frith and Esther Stanford-Xosei.
