As a result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity is cancelling its Hank and Billye Suber Aaron Young Scholars Summer Research Institute and capstone event for 2020.
The decision was made as part of the University’s campus-wide cancellation of all summer programs. We are all deeply disappointed but recognize that the health and safety of students is paramount.
The Center fully intends to host the program next year in July 2021. We have emailed returning scholars and current applicants with more detailed information specific to their cohort.
