Clarke Shead is a current Junior at Duke University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Chemistry and AAAS. At the Cook Center she works with the Health Equity group under Dr.Keisha Bentley-Edwards studying the relationship between religion and chronic disease in African Americans. She also serves as Chief of Staff on the Black Student Alliance executive board and is apart of the Cardea Fellowship program. During her senior year she plans to work on a thesis focused on undergraduate pre-medical student implicit bias in an effort to promote early competency and bias training prior to medical school matriculation.
