Miesha Williams is an Associate Professor of Economics at Spelman College.?She researches macroeconomic policies in Africa and aspects of inclusive macroeconomic growth in the United States. She has obtained grants from Title III, NSF, USDA, Carnegie Foundation, Koch Foundation, and NIH. She’s published in AEA Papers and Proceedings, Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Economics Race and Policy, Review of Black Political Economy, and co-edited a special issue on Social Justice in Agricultural and Resource Economics Review.? Williams has a B.S. in Economics (2007) from Florida A&M University, as well as an M.A. (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) in Economics from University of Alabama, and in the 2022- 2023 school year she trained as scholar in the Resource Center for Minority Aging Research with the University of Southern California.
