Dr. Christopher Petsko is a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University, where he holds appointments in both the Fuqua School of Business and the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity. Prior to arriving at Duke, Christopher completed his doctorate in social psychology at Northwestern University, where he graduated in June of 2020. At the most general level, Christopher’s research examines how it is that stereotypes get inside our heads and influence our perceptions of each other. His sub-speciality is on the topic of intersectional stereotyping. Christopher’s research has received attention from the National Science Foundation, and it has been published in mainstream social psychological outlets such as Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Social Psychological and Personality Science, and Journal of Experimental Psychology: General.
