Faculty Affiliate and Health Equity Working Group Research Associate Dr. John Purakal, an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine, was an executive producer on the film Good Guy with a Gun, released early this February on Apple TV and other platforms. Dr. Purakal was motivated to join the production given his work with firearm injury reduction and health policy related to firearms.
