Program Information

Goals

  • Provide NCSSM students interested in social equity topics a chance to work with Cook Center researchers
  • Facilitate experiences to encourage learning and developing tools for critical inquiry
  • Enable student production of individual research or to work on a research team
  • Nurture scholars interested in the study of inequality and remedies for addressing group-based disparities and conflicts.

Details

  • Programming: The mentorship takes place during the academic year with oppurtunites to participate in the summer session of the Hank & Billye Suber Aaron young Scholars Summer Research Institute
  • Requirement: A current student at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
