Persistent Racial Wealth Inequality and Reparations

Darity is a professor in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke where he also holds posts as Professor of African and African American Studies, Professor of Economics and affiliate of both the Duke Initiative for Science & Society and the Center for Child and Family Policy.

His areas of expertise include inequality, stratification economics, racial discrimination and income inequality. He is the co-author of the book “From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century” (University of North Carolina Press, April 2020).
