The Case for Reparations
In this interactive forum, the MIT community spotlights the work of William Darity PhD ’78, author of From Here to Equality: Reparations for Black Americans in the Twenty-First Century, published in April 2020 by UNC Press. Darity, the Samuel DuBois Cook Professor of Public Policy, African and African American Studies, and Economics and the director of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University, will discuss the research behind the book and its implications for America in the years ahead and take questions from participants.
