Sanders to host town hall on economic inequality featuring Darrick Hamilton

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will host a town hall focusing on economic inequality on March 19 which will be broadcast live online. “Inequality in America: The Rise of Oligarchy and Collapse of the Middle Class" will be broadcast live in front of an audience in the U.S. Capitol, and will feature Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), film producer and director Michael Moore and The New School economics professor  and Associate Director of the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity, Darrick Hamilton.

“The goal is twofold: No. 1 is to have a serious discussion on one of the most important issues facing our country, and that is who owns America, who has the power, why the middle class is declining,” Sanders told The Huffington Post. 
“Then we’re going to be talking about where we go from here. How do we create an economy that works for everybody and not just the 1 percent?” he continued.
